Return on investment tips
  • By taking advantage of as many of the incentives listed above as possible,
  • By reducing your dwellings energy consumption levels (consider an Energy Audit),
  • Then base the size (and therefore price) of your solar system to match or exceed that new reduced consumption level.

You will gain the following advantages:

  • Lower your ultimate solar system costs due to Government financial incentives and credits.
  • Lower up front system costs due to a smaller system being required because of your newly reduced energy demands.
  • Lower your overall energy demands and so reduce your daily electricity draw from the grid. Therefore, increasing your solar panels contribution and your dwellings efficiency.
  • Neutralize your power bills (if your solar system matches or exceeds your daily requirements), if not greatly reduce your power bills.
  • Earn "Feed-in Tariff" monetary credits against your energy retailers power bills, from day one. (Over time Feed-in Tariffs are tipped to keep increasing).
  • Replace your ever increasing quarterly electricity bills with your fixed rate and limited term solar system loan repayments. (see graphic)
