$100 Water Savers Rebate

Rous Water, of Northern NSW, is offering rebates of up to $100 on the Every Drop Shower Saver ®.

Savings:

The rebate payment and water savings for the average household equates to a saving of tens of thousands of litres each year with additional savings on hot water costs.

Based on water costs of $1.90 per kilolitre and typical gas hot water costs; that's a $100 per year saving, if not more.

Terms and conditions:

The rebate paid will be no more than the combined cost of the product and it's installation, up to the maximum of $100 for the Every Drop Shower Saver ®.

The receipt or invoice must clearly show the product purchased. (The online Ecoworld sales receipt and/or invoice for 1 unit should total up to $86.41 with P&H included and it clearly lists the product name and amount paid.)

To be eligible for the rebate you are required to:

Be a town water customer of Ballina, Byron, Lismore, Richmond Valley or Rous Water Councils. Note that the Applicant must be the owner or authorised managing agent of the property where the product is installed or used.
Purchase and install the nominated product on or after 1 July 2010 until 30 June 2011. Note that the offer does not apply to products installed to comply with BASIX for new development.
Complete the rebate application form, attach a sales receipt or plumber's account (dated 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011) and return both to Rous Water.
Complete the respondent survey on the application form for evaluation of the rebate program.
Agree to refund the rebate received if you remove, return or exchange the product within twelve (12) months. Please note that your Council or Rous Water may audit the premises to verify that the product has been installed satisfactorily.

This water saving device can easily be installed by anyone handy enough with a wrench or shifting spanner and some plumbers tape, so most customers, who buy 1 device, are likely to apply for their $86.41 back through the Rous Water Rebate Scheme.

Application Form:

The rebate application form can be downloaded here and then submitted after the Every Drop Shower Saver has been purchased and installed. If you do not have a printer you can call Rous Water on (02) 6621 8055 and ask them to send you the form in the mail.

Please keep in mind that Rous Water may conduct random site inspections to verify that the unit was purchased and installed.
