The Solatherm is a simple, robust and highly efficient way to convert solar panel electric energy directly into hot water, reducing energy costs while maximising the value of your solar array. Australian designed and made, it heats water without pumps, compressors or any rooftop plumbing.
By treating hot water as a flexible solar load, Solatherm allows excess solar to be used productively rather than wasted — making it ideal for both off-grid and grid-connected homes.
PV Direct DC heating – Electrical DC Solar Power is used directly to heat water, avoiding inverter conversion losses.
Perfect for off-grid systems – Once your water tank is heated, solar power is diverted to a solar controller to charge your batteries or to any other DC load.
Ideal for grid-connected homes – Integrates seamlessly with grid inverters, soaking up excess solar before charging your batteries or exporting to the grid. It operates independent from the grid during power outages and has a second top element option if required.
Intelligent DC controller – Automatically switches surplus solar to your inverter, battery system or other DC loads once water reaches temperature.
